Poultry Incinerators

Poultry incinerators can eradicate poultry diseases, new virus strains and spread of diseases. Used for chickens, duck, geese, broilers and hatchery chicks.

Severe water pollution cases, animal diseases, new virus strains and the spread of infectious diseases are only a few of the consequences of improper poultry waste treatment.

Safe, thermal treatment of poultry waste

Poultry waste incineration is the most efficient method of disposal resulting in a high level of risk reduction, total process control, availability of recovered heat and a huge volume reduction are some of the benefits of our range of small and high capacity machines.

Modern incineration is recognized as the most efficient solution for significant risk reduction in poultry waste management.

All DEFRA type-approved machines have a burn rate of no more than 50kg per hour. Larger models with higher throughput are available but may require additional permits to operate.

What types of poultry waste are there?

Poultry waste comes in a variety of forms. These can roughly be described as:

  • Disposal of Dead Birds
  • Disposal of Droppings or Manure*
  • Disposal of Poultry Manure*
  • Disposal of Dressing Waste*

*- if you are incinerating anything apart from carcasses then you will need to seek advice from your local environmental agency.

If you wish to use your poultry waste as fertilizer, then you need to ensure you keep the Nitrogen and Potassium levels down. One way to do this is through incineration. The other benefit of incinerating the chicken shed waste is that it converts to just 3% of bottom ash - this waste is usually rich in nutrients and vitamins.
