Sheep & Lamb Incinerators

Our sheep & lamb incinerators are ideal for fallen livestock and can prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Many are DEFRA type approved.

With landfill and rendering costs growing at an alarming rate the idea of self-owning a small capacity sheep & lamb incinerator for your own use is becoming more and more viable. This option is even more attractive with our competitive range of incinerator solutions and finance options available.

Sheep farmers are acutely aware of the rising costs associated with the disposal of fallen livestock and animal by-products.

Incineration not only reduces these costs, but allows you to take full control of how you manage your waste and bio-security on-site.

All our range have a number of options and custom features available such as auto de-ashing, auto-loading and heat exchangers (that provide the ability to generate heat or hot water from your waste). All models below also feature a 2 second retention time in the secondary chamber and comply with EU animal by-products regulations.

Owning your own incinerator

  • Costs around £5* to incinerate a sheep carcass
  • Reduces the risk of vermin
  • Ensures any diseases are kept at source

Fallen livestock collections

  • £15-20 per carcass to have it collected
  • Collection increase the risk of cross contamination
  • Need to store deadstock for collection

When would I need to Incinerate?

As sheep farmers, you will be aware of the increase in animals during lambing season. It is at this time we see the biggest increase in demand for our products. They are used primarily for the disposal of any fallen livestock or stillborn lambs. Animal incineration has become far more advanced over the years and it is widely accepted that almost all the emissions from these incinerators are in fact just clean air.

Most of our agricultural models are DEFRA type approved with a burn rate of less than 50kg per hour.

You can use them on your own farm for carcass disposal, and the destruction of other waste material allowed within the WID (Waste Incineration Directive).
