A West African Gold Mining Operation
Inciner8 has supplied one of the world’s top ten senior gold producers, a leading operator across West Africa, with active mines in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, and Burkina Faso, with multiple incineration units as part of a comprehensive waste management strategy.
The first unit supplied was a 40ft containerised i8-200G, fitted with an additional Venturi Gas Scrubber, deployed at a mine in Côte d’Ivoire. The containerised format makes the system fully mobile, enabling it to be relocated between sites with ease ensuring safe waste disposal wherever operations demand it.
The second unit, an i8-700G, was installed at a mine in Burkina Faso for the disposal of general camp waste and small volumes of medical waste. One of Inciner8’s largest machines, the i8-700G is built to handle high quantities of waste efficiently. Its secondary chambers retain gas for a minimum of two seconds, ensuring compliance with the most stringent international environmental standards and guaranteeing that all gases and particulates are treated correctly.
