Pig & Sow Incinerators

With landfill and rendering costs growing at an alarming rate the idea of self-owning a small capacity incinerator for your own use is becoming more and more viable – especially now with our competitive range of finance options available.

Pig Producers have a number of reasons to choose incineration over the other alternative waste disposal methods available.

The key benefit of incineration over all others is its superiority in bio-security – no other waste management process can give you complete peace of mind when a disease outbreak occurs. Destruction of fallen livestock at source is the preferred and safest solution.

The other benefit is that you can use your incinerator to process your general waste as well, nearly eliminating any need for 3rd party costs.
Due to the high calorific value of pigs and sows, our models can be adjusted to control the amount of fuel being injected – thus reducing operating costs even more.

We have a number of models that are type approved under the animal by-products regulation for use as low capacity incinerator plants (less than 50kg per hour). 

All our models have a number of optional features available such as auto de-ashing, auto-loading and heat exchangers (that provide the ability to generate heat or hot water from your waste).

DEFRA state: “Approved incinerators for use by pig producers must be designed, equipped, built and operated in such a way that the gas resulting from the process is raised in a controlled and homogenous fashion, even under the most unfavourable conditions, to a temperature of 850C, as measured near the inner wall or at another representative point of the combustion chamber, for two seconds.”

I8-40A – small capacity (35kg per hour) animal incinerator

i8-140 -  medium capacity (150kg per hour) animal incinerator


High fat content can be an issue for some manufacturers due to their chamber construction, here at Inciner8 our resilient, solid monolithic cast refractory lining ensures that fats & oils naturally present in the marine/aquaculture waste do not penetrate the lining, this prevents cracking and the breakdown of typical brick lined units.
