With the announcement in China this week that they are planning to build 300 waste to energy (EfW) sites over the next few years it is clear to see that this is a technology that is here to stay.
This next generation of waste to energy plants will also harvest solar power and water from its roof area to use in the whole waste management process. The largest of these in in excess of 1km in diameter!
