Cattle farmers of all descriptions will have noticed the increase in fallen livestock costs over the last 12 months.
We are seeing more and more livestock breeders, dairy farmers and other bovine related businesses get in touch to discuss the benefits of having their own incinerator on-site. Most agree that the situation is only going to get worse and that it is critical for all farm businesses to review how they operate and bring things such as waste incineration in house.
Most of our medium to large models can have optional heat exchangers added (that provide the ability to generate heat or hot water from your waste).
DEFRA state: “Animal carcasses or parts of animal carcasses suspected or confirmed as infected by a TSE are category 1 ABPs. They must be disposed of by incineration, or processing (rendering) followed by incineration.”
Read more about animal by-product incinerators & how to use them.
We also have a page dedicated to incinerators specifically for Fallen Stock & Deadstock Disposal.
For any other kind of livestock or agricultural incinerator please take a look at our Animal Incinerator page.
